Ino Sofjan Fundraiser for SB250

Sometimes good things start from a JOKE, a DARE, and then, BOOM, I go all out...

Anyway, a dear friend of mine, Tommy Smith, has been on my heels about doing this long ride from McAllen to San Antonio. Blah blah blah... I thought it was just a JOKE... Yeah, a 250-mile ride in South Texas in the summer.

Then for years he's been daring me to do this. Somehow things got in the way. Yep, I ducked on the DARE :-)

So finally, BOOM, this year I will take part in this charitable cause. I'm all registered and hotel booked.

Riding for 250 miles in Texas heat may sound tough and crazy. But the heart and soul of this ride is way beyond the heat and the distance.

Supporting Spina Bifida to honor Tommy's daughter, Ashtyn, and the rest of the SB Family in Texas, by raising money through Suzannah Smiles is now my main charitable focus for 2022.

And if you can, come join us! Pedal your way from McAllen to San Antonio. Sprint your way to the watermelon. Ride as a family to Freetail where a special surprise is waiting for us. This isn’t your ordinary t-shirt ride….this is the SB250
